Writer's Workshop: A Year in Blog Posts

A Year in Blog Posts courtesy of Mama Kat!

Mama’s Losin’ It

I haven't given this a whole lot of organizational thought ahead of time.  I'm just going to scroll back through my list of posts and see what's in there. The prompt says to pick "a favorite" but I'm leaning toward trying to pick the one that best represents where I was at the time...

Here we go...

Last January found me coming back from the holidays in The Great White North a little down on myself.  I set some goals for myself.  How did I do? Read on...

I had my day as Feature Blogger over at SITS.  'Nough said!

My sister got engaged last Christmas and was planning a wedding for this past summer.  We managed a whole 3 months before the craziness started to take over!

In April, I met a Cute Boy *grins*

My parents visit, the wedding crazy continues, you know, my normal...

I geared up for my first official summer off in almost ten years and the wedding crazy continued....

This one hit home with a lot of you... and me too... I was finally in a position where the tables were turned and it was bittersweet.

My sister's wedding...FINALLY... a family celebration for the ages.

It was a bit of a rough fall, y'all... I took time to say thank you in September.

The stress of the fall found me just 6 pounds from the goal I set in January... a major accomplishment for me! ~I'm now maintaining between 2-4 lbs from it... which is pretty much what I said I could maintain in January.

November: Fizzled
Cute Boy and I called it quits.

I realize that this was my most recent post, but since we are still in the middle of the holiday season and I recapped it for you. It's sort of where I am right now!

When I started this, I thought I'd have some thread that told a whole story and kept reappearing... there are some ~like the wedding~ but turn out, my Year in Blog Posts is just as random as me.

I'm visiting from Mama Kat's. It was interesting to visit your blog. Congratulations on your weight loss journey. Sorry about Fizzled, but timing is everything. You DO deserve to be happy!
