Tag, You're It!

I freely admit to being totally random.  Following a conversation with me can be exhausting, especially when I am wound up.  You'd think I'd like posts like this... they lend themselves to my radomness. Instead, they make me all anxious... so, I wouldn't do this for just anyone... and am probably effectively looking a gift horse in the mouth by going on about it... but my girl, Andrea over at Good Girl Gone Redneck tagged me, and because it's her and because I love her, I am playing along.

That said, please don't feel pressure to participate if I tag you . In fact, I'm not even going to TELL you I tagged you. You will only find out if you read to the bottom of the post. See? No pressure!  And please, please, please don't feel bad about it if I don't mention you. I am having severe chain letter anxiety! *sigh*

Here goes nothing!

The Rules:
1. Post the rules
2. Share 11 random things about yourself
3. Answer the questions posted to you from your tagger
4. Come up with 11 new questions for the people you tag
5. Tag your peeps on Twitter, facebook (not me!) or on your blog (yep!)

Eleven Random Things:

1. Good grief, there isn't much I haven't told y'all... eleven... I need ELEVEN!
2. I *heart* purple ink pens.
3. The first record (yes it was record) I ever owned was the soundtrack to the original Muppet Movie.
4. I am painfully self-conscious and always worry about what other people are thinking of me.
5. My mother is coming this weekend.
6. I just finally joined Pinterest.
7. My Girl A sent me the invite which is probably why I am doing this post for her!
8. My children are playing Monopoly Deal while I write this.
9. Underneath it all, I am a people pleaser and I don't like it when people don't like me...even if I don't like them either.
10. I have not yet decided what to give up for Lent this year.
11. I found out last week that my ex's petition to have our marriage annulled in the Catholic Church was denied for the second time. I ultimately chose not to participate in the process.

Sorry, I realize that was kind of a doozy to leave off with... welcome to the inside of my head! *grins*

Andrea's Eleven Questions:
- Last movie you watched.
The Muppets and I LOVED it and I sang along and I *may* have even teared up during Rainbow Connection.

- Last book you read.
A smutty romance, The Creed Legacy by Linda Lael Miller. I have really been slacking on my reading lately. Smut is all I've had time for.

- Favorite song of all time.
Oh Lord, I can't think...Dancing Queen even though I was too young to know it when it originally came out and didn't actually discover it until college.  I have my very own dance... people request it in my presence just so they can watch me. It is on video more than once. I have never watched myself. I am afraid.

- Do you like to dance?
Yes, see above, but I will usually only do so after a few glasses of wine... without it I'm too self-conscious.

- Food you could live off of for the rest of your life?
Pizza, just like my girl from another mother.

- Best meal you have EVER eaten. Yes. Ever.
Seriously?  I can't think AGAIN... one of my good friend's lasagna.  It's the best I've EVER had...EVER... I would bathe in the stuff, so I guess I'd have to go with the first time I ever had it, but it was so good, I don't remember what else went with it... I only remember the lasagna!

- Favorite article of clothing.
Big fluffy men's sweatpants.  I had a flaming red pair that finally disintegrated and have now moved on to a gray pair emblazoned with the state college's men's lacrosse team logo. I like to loop the elastic around the bottoms of my feet and the more times I can fold over the waist, the better. I look very sexy. It is amazing that I am still single!

- Daily mantra?
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

- Wine? Beer? Fruity drinks? None?
Wine, WINE, wine, did I say wine? Followed by fruity drinks. Never, never, NEVER beer!

- Favorite childhood memory?
Gracious, girl! You are killing me, killing me... probably the day my sister came home from the hospital. I was 2 years, 9 months and it's one of my first memories. I remember my aunt and neighbor's daughters, who were teenagers were watching me and one of the neighbor's daughters told me to go sit on the couch so I could hold the baby when she came in. I remember sitting on the couch kicking my heels against the back. I don't remember actually holding my sister, just the waiting...

- Answer your own question here!
That's totally not fair! I can't even answer all of yours!
How about: What movie line do you quote the most?  It's a toss up between, 'I carried a watermelon." and "Hello McFly!?!?" I'm not sure what it says about me that my life lends itself to saying either so often.

- Dang, I just came up with another one: Favorite movie line EVER.
"Nobody puts Baby in a corner!"

My Peep's: TAG, YOU'RE IT!  (again, no pressure, I promise. I read you, I want other to go visit, you don't have to play.)

Charlotte (because she is so very supportive behind the scenes)
Diane (because I admire her grace)
Ellen (because she will probably politely decline)
Holly (because she will curse me out and make me laugh)
Heather (because she has more places to be than me)
Tessica (because she is a single mom too)

Your Eleven Amazing Questions:
1. Favorite teacher?
2. Why was he/she your favorite?
3. Movie Line you are most likely to quote?
4. Song, not necessarily your favorite, you find yourself belting out at the top of your lungs?
5. Favorite vegetable?
6. How do you prefer to get your caffeine? Coffee, tea, soda, chocolate?
7. Wine? Beer? Fruity drinks? None? (stealing this one)
8. Your first kiss?
9. Favorite place to vacation?
10. Size bed you sleep in?
11. Bikini, tankini, one-piece, covered from knees to nose?

Have to love that I finally found another woman who can admit her love for coloured ink:)
Oh and I am pathetic because I am pretty sure my fave drink right now is coffee!

I had no idea your ex tried to have your marriage annulled! WTH? I was always under the assumption that an annulment could only be pursued if the marriage was brief and never "consummated". Shows how much I know.

Thanks for tagging me. I may get up the energy to play along later. I'm still sipping coffee this morning because it's a teacher workday here.

Awwww, I'm so touched to be tagged, momma :) I'll have to think long and hard (that's what she said) about these answers. Forgive me, I've just inhaled my weight in chocolate and am currently bouncing off the walls. XOXO
