Friday Fragments: Full Moon

I am still trying to catch up on responding to last week's comments. I'm woefully behind. Let's blame my mom, shall we?  *grins* Hoping to get to it this weekend!

*****

Because I teach in a magnet school, we have a block schedule, even on the elementary level to allow for electives.  My second block, B2, is a tough group, I'm not going to lie. They are making it a really long year.  Yesterday, we had a great class.  Even the students noticed. One of them looked at me and I said, "Ms. T, this was a great day!" We weren't even doing anything special, just reviewing for a test, so it was actually a little boring.  Then I realized:

It was full moon, you know the day when the students are notoriously "off"!

*****

I'm still loving Pinterest. I popped on last night and found these.

Seems someone read my last blog post! *grins*

*****

I listen to Mike & Mike in the Morning on ESPN radio on my way in to work.  Monday (or maybe Tuesday) morning we were listening along and I heard the following conversation from the backseat, "Boy, I think Peyton should go to the Jets because than both brothers will play in the same stadium and that just makes sense!"

This from a child who claims not to like football protests loudly all fall when her mother and brother settle in on the couch on Sunday afternoons!

*****

I got my hair cut last night. I'd show you, but that wold ruin the whole anonymous thing.  Then we stopped at Trader Joe's on the way home and I bought a case of 3-Buck Chuck.  I do love walking out of the store with a case of wine I actually like for less that $45!

3 Buck Chuck? See, now I'm going to have to look that one up. I love unusually named wines.

I did Pinterest a little and liked it but I haven't been there in awhile. Mainly because I know me, I'll get sucked in and my family will never see me again.

Happy Friday!

I am always amazed how each class has a vibe to it. One can teach the same class back-to-back and a totally different feel can come from each one. It is an amazing thing.

How did I not realize you teach at a magnet. Oops!

I wanna see the hair - - someone's comment about a mask has me giggling!

I'm LOVING that there is another woman out there who keeps her radio on ESPN - - - like me!

Do you watch "PTI" and "Around the Horn?" What about "Sports Nation?"

They are my bread and butter - - -

You could take a photo and then blur or black out your face! You did that with the photo of The boy's football game! Just sayin....

3 Buck Chuck? I am not a wine connoisseur so I have no clue what that is.

Sometimes, I have moments with my kids that sneak up on me like that. We won't really be doing anything but everything is just clicking.

I like both of your Pinterest quotes. I needed a little inspiration this Friday so thanks!

Happy FF!

I'm just really working on containing my jealousy! Trader Joes decided having a store in Toledo was not going to happen. I agree with them from a business point of view, but they weren't thinking of ME-ME-ME. :) I drive almost an hour to go to Trader Joes!

I haven't heard of three-buck-chuck either.

Those are great pins!! So great reminders.

I get behind on my responding and commenting. I am supra late going over the FF. Ah well...

I chuckled over the Manning comment. She's probably a closet football fan ;-)
