Writer's Workshop: Favorite Candies

Do I have a sweet tooth?

Silly question!

In case you are still doubting me, the following is a true story.
I'd had some girlfriends over with their kids while the dads went out for a movie one evening.  As the only girl, we let The Girl hang out downstairs with us while the boys played in the playroom. She proceeded to eat her weight in snacks.  I mentioned as she asked for yet another brownie that she had definitely inherited my SWEET TOOTH.  Later that night, as I was tucking her in to bed, she was feeling all her teeth.
"Which one's my snack tooth?" she asked.

I'm not sure there was ever an easier Writer's Workshop for me to write!

Daddy and I will go through a whole bag...several actually... in a visit. I will never forget his excitement the first time he found one of the 5lb bags. He came around the corner in Walmart of all places with one in the cart and he said to me, "I found a Big 'un!"

I love this cold from the fridge...not frozen, mind you, just cold.

I went to the dentist when I was pregnant with The Girl and the hygenist asked if I was having any issues with my teeth due to pregnancy.  My reply, "Well, non other than any that may be caused by the big bag of Starburst I go through each week!" She shook her head at me, but no cavities at that visit!

When I was first teaching, I used to keep these in a jar on my desk. I had to stop because I ate them all... I like to combine flavors like lemon with grape and watermelon with apple.

Daddy used to keep the little bit size ones in the ski bag and he'd give Evie and I a couple after lunch at the ski hill.  I like to eat the nougat of the bottom and then eat the peanut and caramel. Yum!

There are very few candies I don't like!

Omg I love candy! I personally love the peanut M&Ms and Reese's Pieces. Also, Swedish fish. yummy :) Who am I kidding? Basically any candy, as long as there's not real fruit in it, I'm good. :)

Yes, I have a huge sweet tooth! I died the day I found the 5lb bag of M&M's. I tried to pass it off, by dumping them into a huge candy jar...but it didnt help how quickly I ate them!

Stopping by via Mama Kats, have a great day!

I know! The candy one would have been a breeze, so I picked a different one, but Snickers all the way!

Yes...I do have a sweet tooth! Not much of a candy person though. It's funny because my son didn't inherit the sweet tooth from his dad and I but he took a liking to Starburst about a year ago...LOVES them! Unfortunately, now that he has the space maintainer in his mouth, he can't eat Starburst anymore...

I do. And I love dark chocolate!

Yes, yes, yes love all of the candies you listed-- though I like plain M&M's better. Reeses are my favorite and definitely cold from the fridge the only way to eat them as far as I am concerned. :)

Snickers are my go too if I feel drained- maybe it's the peanuts :)

I had to stop stocking the bowl in my office with Starburst because I at them all. Instead, I filled with Wintergreen lifesavers, much easier to resist!

Mmm, all of this sounded so good and I left my candy in the car this morning! =( It's probably liquid by now. BTW it's Skinny Cow Clusters...have you tried any of the Skinny Cow candy? YUMMY and less fat!

Yum. Candy. I love Snickers. There is one sitting on my desk right now. Just waiting for me. I am trying to resist.

Yup! I'm with you on this one. I have a sweet tooth, too. My favorite chocolate of all time has to be Butterfinger. It's such a rare indulgence, but I savor every bite :)
