Instead I'm writing about fashion... because when all else fails, go for the frivolous, right?
I *may* be experiencing the opposite of last year's weight loss, so I'll be lucky if I can squeeze myself into last year's Christmas out fits. The good thing about traveling every other year is you can wear the same thing two years in a row, because different people get to see it. A girl certainly doesn't want to spend money on new clothes if said clothes are a size bigger!
Click here to see what I wore last year.
This year, I will be wearing this on my fingers, because luckily, my fingernails don't get fat! *grins*

I looked and looked for the OPI colors in this pin, but with no luck, so I ended up layering one coat of OPI Got a Date Toknight!, a pale pink I already had, under on coat of Essie Marshmallow followed by a top coat of Essie Set in Stones (use sparingly, really) for a very similar effect! I re-did them last night using just the Marshmallow and Set in Stones... go with the pink under layer... it looks prettier!

Happy Primping!

4.) Put together and share a fun holiday outfit you'd like to wear if you had somewhere to wear it.

I never ever wear polish on my nails - too much maintenance. That seems like it would be pretty though! Enjoy your holiday!
I absolutely ADORE your nails!! They look awesome! :) Great job! And I hope that it lightened your mood a little bit, too. Thinking of you and those you love in CT.
Love the polish. But I always have the hardest time getting those glitter polishes off!
Gorgeous nails!! I'm sending prayers for those who've been affected in CT.
How fun! I can't remember the last time I wore nail polish... Now I'm in the mood the paint my nails. lol
very nice! I think with the long weekend I'll paint my nails too. So easy and I feel so pretty :)
That is totally gorgeous! Love it!!!!
I love that nail polish! Will have to look for it in the store today. You've got great taste :)
Very pretty! I'm partial to OPI's "Mermaid for Each Other" even though I despise the Kardashians. But Mermaid probably isn't very classy for holiday shindigs.
This pic is the perfect shade of sparkly snow.

Purty - and I'm so sorry about the connection. Sad.
sigh...so sorry it hit as close to home as that for you. =(
I love the nails. I wish you could've found what you were looking for but I bet your turned out awesome! Not sure I could've put that many layers on my nails. lol I'm too lazy!
This looks great!!not over the top but very festive! I have a few glitter nail polishes that I may put on my nails this Christmas!!
I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who's everyday is too hard for nail polish! I need to try what you suggested though, because every now and then, I need to feel more like me and less like maid-and-bath-giver, lol. Found you through SITS Sharefest :)
