Friday Fragments: Spring Break!

It's Spring Break. I do not have to go back to work until a week from Monday!

Do you celebrate Easter?

If so, how?  Do you hide eggs? Plastic or real

When I was little the Easter Bunny "hid" jelly beans.... many, many jellybeans.  I do not like jellybeans, so for my children the Easter Bunny hides the eggs we dye.

Although I will say that when you hide jellybeans, it's not big deal if you miss one, unlike when you cannot find that last egg!

Holy cow!  The sun is not up yet and I just got a glimpse of the moon out my front window. Is it a full moon?  If not it must be close, because it's magnificent!

I mentioned on Wednesday that the local news came a filmed a Harlem Shake video with my class. I thought I was off camera.

 I was not.

Fortunately, since I don't post pictures of myself here, I can just tell you about it and I don't have to show you!

I also mentioned Wednesday that we will be spending Easter with my parents and Lawn Boy's parents... and also my former in-laws.  Okay, not really... my in-laws will be coming the day before, but it's close enough that the idea gave me shivers!

"Mamma, I see a turtle on a surfboard screaming," said The Boy from the back seat.

"Huh?"  I said.

"In the clouds, Mamma. I see a cartoon-like turtle riding a surfboard with his mouth open, screaming."

From The Girl, I would expect this, but my logical, analytical, mathematical son just does not think this way!

Happy Easter!

Happy Friday, Happy Easter-
I am still very friendly with my ex-mother in law too. She was a friend for many years, we had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day we are still family.
She loves my new husband, and her grandchildren still have a good relation with her...which is always how I wanted it to be,
Good for you- enjoy!

I totally wish I could have seen you do that Harlem Shake - but I understand!

Hope you had a very happy Easter! I can imagine that a jelly bean hunt would take much longer than an Easter egg hunt :) haven't hidden any eggs in year and my mom gave me a hard time about it this year. She's disappointed (get this) that I don't want to look for eggs... at 34. OMG, that woman needs grand kids. Too bad I'm nowhere near giving her any.

Anyway, I am still really intrigued about the Harlem Shake. I wanna see!!!
