Old School Blogging

Last Monday, I was lamenting about not being inspired to blog. Little did I know, as I was vowing to be more positive, Shell over at Things I Can't Say, had my back;  Giving me something to blog about AND reminding me of the joy of some of the connections I've made blogging in one fell swoop, all on top of having me remember fondly my beginning blogging days.

Without further ado, I'm jumping on the bandwagon.  Will you join me?

What were you doing 10 years ago?

I was a first time, stay-at-home-mom to a 5-month-old who DID NOT sleep through the night!

What 5 things are on your to do list?

1. Go over next Writing Unit of Study while I am home with a sick child
2. Clean the house while I am home with sick child.
3. Catch up on Laundry while I am home with sick child.
4. Make grocery list and consider taking sick child to store
5. Shower

What are 5 snacks you enjoy?

  1. hummus and sugar snap peas
  2. nacho cheese doritos
  3. almonds and dried cranberries/cherries
  4. greek yogurt
  5. chocolate

Name some things you would do if you were a millionaire.

Pay off mortgage and car
Put aside money for college
Invest so work was a choice and not a necessity.
Decide what I really want to be when I grow up.*winks*
Travel
Volunteer and give to charity
Buy a beach house

Name some places you have lived.

Well I can't tell you that because, although if you've been reading for awhile, you can figure it out, I'm still mostly anonymous!

Let's go with: various places in the northeast and the Bible Belt south *grins*

Name some bad habits you have.

Procrastinating
Putting too much on my plate
Perfectionism
Eating from boredom

Name some jobs you have had.

teacher
standardized test question writer/editor
Pampered Chef consultant
ice cream scooper
cashier

Name those you are tagging for #OSBlog:

In the event that you don't already know them, let me introduce you to a few ladies who have been regular visitors here almost since the beginning!

Good Girl Gone Redneck
Woven by Words
Putting the Fun in Dysfunctional
Be Still a Minute
Making it Work Mom

I hope all y'all will join in the fun. Tell them some crazy Sorta Southern Lady told you to do it!

I've seen this on a few other blogs. And since I haven't been in a blogging rut too, I may just have to join in.

Love your answers to the millionaire question. :)

Geez. I meant "have"...HAVE been in a blogging rut. Why do I never see these typos until after I hit publish?

LOVE this idea! How did we miss it? Anyway, I definitely related to eating from boredom. And I am always amazed that you are anonymous...I really hope I meet you one day and you can reveal your true identity! ;)-The Dose Girls

I will do the same things when I find/earn/steal my first million! And I have the same to do list when I have a sick child@home. I loved reading about you in this way!

I so eat from boredom. It's why I try to not have food around me.

And as I typed that, I'm snacking on M&Ms.

I did this last week. Hopefully my new layout that will be uploaded today will give me a blog push. I hate writing somewhere I am not happy with anymore. I have to shake it up over there at least once a year..

I'm the opposite. Got lots on my mind to post but never the time. I can read and post a comment, but tars about the span of my time.

Have to say, this looks fun!
I have a few Easter craft posts I want to get up this week, but I think I'll come back here later and check out these questions to do!

Oooh, I got tagged! FUN! I was literally just sitting here trying to think of something to blog about (and coming up blank - nothing new!). Problem solved! =D
Your snacks sound good, as do your millionaire plans! Will you invite me to your beach house?! I''ll cook for you.....
