Friday Fragments: Overwhelmed!

I think it's just been a couple of weeks, but it feels like forever since I've fragged!

*****

Between watching Lawn Boys kids, going to the beach, starting back to work, and The Boy's football schedule, I feel like I've going beyond speaking in fragments to having no coherent thoughts at all!

*****

This time last year I was blogging about taking A Back to School Blog Break. Seems this year is not the first I've been overwhelmed with back to school and football.

*****

Speaking of being back to work, one of my former students hugged me this week and told me it felt like I was going to have another baby. I've lost 8 pounds and was feeling great, so she gets points for impeccable timing!

*****

We have one night of the week where I have to get home from work, get food in The Boy before football, get The Girl to her riding lesson, then get The Boy to football, all by 6 pm.  This week I failed miserably; we were all late and ended up eating in the car on different legs of the trip. I won the prize, eating in the 15 minutes I got to sit before leaving The Boy's practice to pick up The Girl, while parked right next to the Port-a-Pot!

Fortunately I'd warned The Boy's football coach that the first few weeks of school might be like this!

*****

I missing my friends in the blog world! I hope y'all are well!

Oh, that former student! Hahaha :) My daughter saw a picture of me and my husband from before we had kids and said, "Wow! You used to be so cute!". Children just have a way about them, huh?!

We have the same car pick up craziness with my son's football and my daughter's dance. UGH!! Timing has to be impeccable! --Lisa

Trying to balance kids lives is an amazing task. I hope it gets to be reasonable for you soon.

Kids, they say the darndest things! I had one kid in school tell me that I was getting old (I was trying growing out my gray hair) and another kid told me my voice sounded like a witch. Haha! Hope things settle down a bit for you. Enjoy your weekend.

I am glad that most of the kiddos in my life are Spanish speaking. I don't always understand the slang or small stuff they say, so I am probably missing comments about my baby belly, etc. Wow. Eating next to the portable toilet sounds exciting. I hope life calms down, soon.

It is a crazy time of the year and although my kids are all grown I remember what it was like.
I took 4 of my grandkids to get shoes for school and it was a shocking reminder of just what I've been missing.
We had a major melt down by the 4 year old and nothing helped except leaving. Actually that didn't work either.
Good luck getting it all together and running smoothly..

It's hard to balance it all, isn't it? Hang in there - just have to get back to routine:)

I am equally crazed by back to school, as well. I am tempted by a blog break.
Have a great weekend!

Kids are just so tactful, aren't they?
Hope y'all settle into a routine soon!

Man, sounds like a busy couple of weeks so it makes sense you haven't fragged in a while. As always, you'll get back into the routine and everything will smooth out again!

Ugh, what a schedule!!! How miserable :-( I hope you find your groove. We start here next week and I will probably need to take some time to find ours. Already the 12 yr old is grumbling about the work... should be fun ;-) Now the beach does sound fun, I hope that was relaxing, and I hope you don't get too stressed out. We missed you too!

OMG, you've got a very busy schedule! I guess the fall will do that to a parent of very active kids, eh? Make sure you take time for yourself too, my sweet!
