Wordful Wednesday: Lord Help Us!

We were driving down the road the other day and I saw this:

and I thought, Oh.My.Word!

That would so be us if we were RVers!  With 5 children between the two of us, we'd need the big ol' motor-home in order to have enough bunks to fit everyone and the suburban for the same reason and the multitude of bikes on the back...

Don't laugh, y'all, with his kids living several hundred miles west, and mine having to travel several hundred miles north two or three times a year to see their dad, this might end up being cheaper than flying and finding hotels.

We just might have to start taking the house with us!

I absolutely love my camper, but, there's only three of us & a 80lb furry person... But its got bunk beds, a pull out bed that's a couch during the day and our bed, full kitchen, and the bathroom which was a necessity when we upgraded from the pop up camper... :-)

Uhm. I just can't see you in an RV.

My kids like to joke that I drive a bus, which I kind of do. It's a 12 passenger van. I can't even imagine what it would be like to try to take an RV!

I'm laughing. With empathy. Or would it be sympathy? Cuz I totally get it. :)

Hilarious! Now that I have a 650 miles trek to their dad and my mother, I may have to do the same!

I lived/traveled in an RV towing a motorcycle and a car for 3 years. So many memories, it seems like a lifetime ago. Great way to travel.

Can you imagine the cost of gas to fill that motor home and how the gas mileage goes down pulling all that?

hahahaha yea, that was my ex's parents. They volunteered for RVICS so they'd spend 3 months of winter in an RV serving at different camps & churches. Pretty cool, though. My friend basically spent her entire summer at an RV park with her kids and they loved it.
